Here is the net and 3d hand made previews of the 3d rooms going on my board, as you can see they fold really well, there is a few modifications needed, some bases are too big and the card bends outwards a little due to sizes and no proper corners.
Completed the brief cards for my board game, went for the post one because I think they worked nicely with the design. The colours are suttle, and it looks nice as an email.
Not sure if the briefs are good enough I wanted to keep them simple yet exciting to get the creative juices flowing and make it a quick task for them. Hopefully the audience wont find the briefs far too open.
Here is the room designs for the squared sections on the game as I said before I decided to have 3d rooms to make the game more unique :).
At first when making them I realised the base is far too thin and the walls needed to be a little higher, my second attempt worked a lot better than my first!
I needed to add my icons to the sections of my board game for the cards, at first i had writing for both but realized the since Client Says doesn’t look right I decided to do an icon for them, creative director icons didn’t work for me and I really liked the type so kept to that and added its own color to it. Just need to think of an icon for Designers luck now!
Spotted this on a lovely site today and I just love the detail in the designs, this is a basic children story book but its packaged really nicely with chocolate! You have the plain front with a gold authentic style which makes the simplistic style stand out.

However on the inside is full of surprises! You have the illustrated chocolate packaging which is very colourful and they also have the tinfoil the same colour with the images so the design becomes fluent.

The bonus is the inside of the box with individual scenic cutout sections for each bar of chocolate, this has a lot of detail but it works and will appeal to the young audience, it may be delicate but can be kept precious.

This makes the combination a fantastic design, first you got the plain start which makes the audience curious whats inside, then when the book is moved away you have the illustrations with the cutout sections, since the sections are white it makes the illustrations stand out.

I would love to try something like this, its beautiful :)

Finally sorted my cards for designers luck, well written them! These are like chance cards which help up your game. If you have ideas for more I would like to hear them, I decided 40 since monopoly has 40

Well finally cut that path into sections just needs numbers and text on them to make it finished, the rooms have been started on which will be where the red boxes are :) I don’t know if I like the path or not or its too clunkey, I feel that when printed it will look better it just looks cramped at the moment however I would love comments on so far!
